Our mission is to amplify the power of civic engagement with data, tools, and research for organizations building healthier and more equitable communities.
Murmuration provides organizations working at the community level with the data, tools, and research they need to fuel their civic engagement efforts and shape the future for the better. Our partners work on some of our nation’s toughest issues — hardened challenges that require the day-in and day-out determination of communities working together to drive change. Yet, too often, these skillful organizers lack access to technology that could supercharge their efforts. At Murmuration, we’re helping communities change our most broken systems with data, tools, and research designed specifically for them.

Behind It All
Murmuration is two organizations working together to pursue our mission of amplifying the power of civic engagement: Murmuration Research Institute, a 501(c)(3) that conducts research to support the identification, design, and creation of the data, tools, and insights that build healthier and more equitable communities; and Murmuration, Inc., a 501(c)(4) that creates and provides data, tools, and support to mission-aligned community organizations building healthier and more equitable communities.
