Americans’ Diverse Media Diet and Implications for Civic Life

With support from The Moriah Fund, Murmuration conducted a large, nationally representative voter-file matched survey in 2025 focused on Americans’ news consumption habits and access to information about politics and government. The survey was designed to learn where Americans are getting news about current events and to connect Americans’ media usage to key civic segments and political behaviors.
